# System Status
From the Lumise version 1.6, the Lumise has the feature for checking system resources. It looks like system requirements.
The Lumise requires performance below:
#### PHP must allows functions:
* stream\_context\_create
* libxml\_set\_streams\_context
* simplexml\_load\_file
* ZipArchive
* Imagick
* file\_put\_contents
* file\_get\_contents
#### System resource – PHP settings
* allow\_url\_fopen
* memory\_limit – recommend 256MB
* post\_max\_size – recommend 800MB
#### Why Memory & Post-Data?
While working with tools, it doesn’t require a little resource from the server. The progress base on your client's performance.
Your customer may add many resources; total capacity data is big sometimes.
So when pressing the checkout, the server has to use the number of resources to process them.
The server needs to process two essential things:
1\) Amount data can put to the server based on users data. PHP has setting post\_max\_size to control that.
2\) Another thing is the memory for PHP process. It may use 512MB of RAM in short time.\
We need to increase the PHP setting to increase available memory. PHP has memory\_limit to control it.
#### How to set that value
Often hosting supports the method for edit the .ini file
You can find the setting PHP Options with the value above.

In case, your hosting support custom php.ini / .user.ini file for any folder
Please create that file php.ini / .user.ini to the root folder of website with values below:

# Installation

# Lumise PHP
It is super easy to install Lumise for Php. Follow this simple instruction to begin.
## 1- Uploading
After purchasing from Codecanyon, go straight to **My Account > Download Items**. Then download **Lumise** to your computer.
You will need to upload the downloaded zip file to your **hosting folder** and then **extract** the zip file.
## 2- Installing
#### *Step 1: Begin*
To install, you'll need to access this URL by replacing two elements http\://\[**your\_domain**]/\[**lumise\_folder**]/installer/.
> your\_domain: replace it with your domain URL.
>
> lumise\_folder: the folder path your uploaded Lumise. If you uploaded to root folder, just leave it.
This will prompt the Welcome panel. Click on **LET'S GO!**
#### *Step 2: **Database information.***
Fill in your **database connection details.**

**Upload path**: The path of folders in which all data files stored. Please ensure your path is readable for all users.
**Upload URL**: The URL to the upload folder.

#### *Step 3: Import sample data.*
If your database information is correct. The installer will prompt this notification. Click to **IMPORT SAMPLE DATA** to go through the final step.
#### *Step 4: Finishing.*
🎉 Congratulations, you have just completed installing Lumise for Php with a few easy steps. You can now access your **DESIGN EDITOR** or **ADMIN PANEL**.
# Lumise Woocommerce
It is super easy to install Lumise for WordPress. Follow this simple instruction to begin.
1\. After purchasing from Codecanyon, go straight to **My Account > Download Items**. Then download **Lumise** to your computer.
2\. From the WordPress Dashboard, click on **Plugins** > **Add New.**
Click on **Choose File** to upload the **lumise.zip** file**.**
3\. Click on the **Install Now** button to start the installation.

# Resources
Lumise resources are **eight elements** located on the left side of the design editor, where you can add and customize elements to your product. Let's go through each part on resources.
### **1. Templates**
**30+ free templates** are ready to use. Effortlessly add new or sync immediately from the Lumise Sync Addon.
You can find all of your pre-designed templates in this tab. Quickly sort with template categories, tags, and keywords.
To select your chosen template. Drag your mouse and drop it to the product. To view more details about the template, just mouse over the (i) icon on the template. The preview will show up with template details such as name, price, tags…
### 2. Cliparts
**+300 free Cliparts** are ready to use. Effortlessly add new or sync immediately from the Lumise Sync Addon.
You can find all of your pre-designed cliparts in this tab. Quickly sort with clipart categories, tags, and keywords.
To select your chosen clipart. Drag your mouse and drop it to the product. To view more details about clipart, just mouse over the (i) icon on the clipart. The preview will show up with clipart details such as name, price, tags
### 3. Images
Upload your pictures or sync from your social accounts such as **Facebook** and **Instagram**. Get free images from our free gallery or some image stocks such as **Pixabay**, **Unsplash**, and **Brust**.
Quickly sort with image categories, tags, and keywords. To select your chosen image, drag your mouse, and drop it to the product.
### 4. Product
This tab includes **product info** and **attribute**. From here, you can change your current product to another product, color, or size with the ease of a button. When you select a different attribute or printing method, the price will be updated automatically.
### 5. Text
To use text in your design, reach to this tab and select from over **1000+ Google Fonts.** To set your chosen text, drag your mouse and drop it to the product to edit.
### 6. Shapes
Shapes are **vector format**, which helps design have smooth details when zoom or export without crack. You can add more shapes or choose from our pre-designed shapes.
To select your chosen text, drag your mouse and drop it to the product to edit.
### 7. Layers
All layers which you added to the product will display on this tab. You can **show/hide** layers via the visibility option or delete layers.
To change the order to back or forward other layers, drag and drop them. **Lock/Unlock** layers to **Disable/Enable** modify tools on that one.
### 8. Drawing
This tab is setting to prepare draw info. You can select the color, size of the bush. Just click on the color you want to use and draw what you want into the editor area.
# Design Area
This is the most important part of Lumise editor. It is a preview for all added layers. Click on each layer to edit or drag the mouse to adjust all layers.
There are parts of the design area:
* **Object editor:** Customize the selected object color and effect.
* **Zoom tools:** Scroll to zoom in or zoom out.
* **Stages switcher**: switch design view to other stage or product.
* **Design area**: The range for design
* **Toolbar:** The options for selected layers include arranges, transform, and position.
# Image Toolbar
The left toolbar where you can add effects to your picture. To enable this toolbar, click on an image, and it'll appear on the top of the design editor.
### 1. Crop Image
The crop image feature allows you to crop the image with the exact position you put into the viewer.
### 2. Image Mask
Do you want to make text with complex background from another image?
Yeah, try the Mask feature in Lumise, make your text more awesome.
### **3. Remove Background**
There's no need for Photoshop knowledge to remove the image background. Simply drag your mouse, and everything is settled.
### 4. Image Filter Effects
Instantly, make your image professional with **20+ filters** which ready to use. This feature helps you make the image have a significant effect as a filter of the camera.
# Layout Toolbar
There are four options on the right toolbar that allow you to customize the picture position, transform, and color. To enable the layout toolbar, click on an image, and it'll appear on the top of the design editor.
### 1. Fill Color
Shape, image, and text are three objects that you can apply this fill option. The Fill Color helps users fill a solid color to the selected objects.
Follow these steps to work with the tool:
1. Drag your mouse to select the layer you want to fill color.
2. Click on the **Fill Color** icon on the toolbar.
3. Select a color from preset colors or enter a custom value by click on input **Click to choose color**.
4. To save custom color just press the plus (+) button next to add.
5. Transparent help you change the opacity of the filled color.
6. **Stroke width** + **Stroke** **color** allow you to make the border color for the current layer.
### 2. Arrange Layers
The Lumise editor works base on layers. Quickly arrange the selected object position either backward or forward.
Follow steps to work with this tool:
1. Chose the layer you want to change.
2. Click on the **Arrange Layers** icon on the toolbar.
3. Select **Forward** or **Back** action to change the object order.
### 3. Position
Whether you want to put it in the right corner or center. The Layer Position tool allows you to place the selected object in the correct position with one click.
Switch the **Lock object position** to **YES**, if you want to continue design without affect the current object.
Follow steps to work with this tool:
1. Select the layer you want to move
2. Click on the **Position** icon on the toolbar
3. Choose the position you wish to move the layer to.
### 4. Transforms Manual
When using the transform tool directly, it is hard to know how many angles rotated or flipped. The Lumise provides a manual way to set transform values for a layer.
Follow steps to work with the tool:
1. Chose the layer you want to change.
2. Click on the **Transform** icon on the toolbar.
3. Adjust the values you want to set.
The values you can set for the object as bellow:
* **Rotate**: the edge of an object. start from 0 – 360
* **Skew X**: skews layer along the X-axis by the given angle
* **Skew Y**: skews layer along the Y-axis by the given angle
* **Flip X**: Horizontal flip your layer
* **Flip Y**: Vertical flip your layer.
Of course, you can cancel all applied values by press the Reset All Transform button.
# Text Toolbar
With a text added to the design area. There are some options for it. To enable options, just mouse over to the selected text and see the top toolbar as show below:
### 1. Font Family
This option allows you to switch to another font family easily. To use more font, just press the **Get More Fonts** button.
### 2. Font Advance
This tool allows you to change the **font-size**, **line-height** even text content
### 3. Text Effects
There are four text effects on Lumise. Select a text and choose **Text Effect** icon to customize your text.
### 4. Text Style
These options help you change text style as **bold**, **underline**, *italic,* or **text-align.**
# Menu
As an application on the desktop, the Lumise menu is a navigation bar located in the top left corner of the design editor.
## 1. File
* **Import file**: Import design from your local which you exported from Lumise.
* **Clear all**: Clear current design to empty.
* **Save to My Designs:** Save your current design to My Designs.
* **Save as file**: current export content on design area to a file
## 2. My Designs
This function manages all of your designs on your current account. You can duplicate, edit, and delete any saved design.
## 3. Print
Print your current design to printing devices. Just select a size or add your custom size to print.
Download your design in PNG or SVG format. Optionally, select the design file **Include base** or **Hide overflow.**
## 4. Help
A quick guide with shortcut keyboards for you to use Lumise Design Editor faster.
## 5. Undo/Redo
They are useful features on Lumise; you can track back to your works easier.
# Cart & Languages
## 1. Cart
Lumise has a preview cart with items you added. To view more items in the cart just press the **Card details** button.
In the View Details popup, you can see more details for a product such as the selected attribute, single item price, subtotal price, and total price.
To checkout, please press the **CHECKOUT** button.
## 2. Languages
When Admin enables the **Allow users to change** settings, users can switch to other languages from the dropdown.
# Product Base
## What is product base?
Product base is a design template that reflects the actual product. You can add designs and customize your product base. Discover how to make a product base?
## 1. All products base
From the Dashboard, click on **Products Base** > **All Products Base.**
This is where you manage all of your existed product base. In this area, you can see the product base stages thumbnail, name, and status.
* **Add New Product Base:** Instantly add a new product base.
* **Bulk Actions**: Multiple actions apply to your selected products base.
* **Filter**: Sort your product base with the selected alphabet order.
* **Search**: Quick search with keywords.
* **Status**: Active/ Deactive product base similar to hide/unhide on the product base list.
## 2. Add New Product Base
From the Dashboard, click on **Products Base** > **Add New Product Base.**
There are 4 tabs for each product base:
* **Details:** Some detailed information for a product base.
* **Designs**: Config designs for each stage of the product, such as front, back, left, and right.
* **Variations:** Create all available variations from created attributes.
* **Attributes:** Config attributes of products to use for add to cart.
### 1. Details
* **Name** The name of the product base displays on the list.
* **Price**: The base price for products. The product's total cost will depend on the base price, attributes, and selected printing method.
* **CMS Product**: The CMS will automatically assign when you create a Woocomerce product that uses this product base. Each product base must have its product CMS.
* **Description**: Short description of this product.
* **Categories**: Select one or more categories to which this product base belong to. Helpful for sorting items.
* **Printing Techniques**: Printing methods that can apply to this product base.
* **Active**: Enable/Disable product base on the switching products.
### 2. Design
* **Product Stages:** Add more product stages. Ex: 2 stages for a t-shirt.
* **Design Area:** Drag to set the design area with an editable radius zone.
* **Printing Size:** Select the size of the design area, or customize with your size.
* **Export Include Base:** Export for printing include product base image.
* **Crop Marks & Bleed:** Show the guideline for crop marks & bleed on Lumise editor.
* **Select product image:** Select a product image with JPG & PNG format only.

Enable "Use a mask layer" when uploading the product image as a mask image to enable product color change.

### 3. Attributes
Lumise support follows product attribute types:
* **Product Colors:** A list of available product colors
* **Dropdown:** a list of dropdown select items of the attribute.
* **Input Text**: The text box for users can set their notice when adding a product to cart.
* **Options**: A list of customizable options for a product.
* **Quantity:** Display a range of quantities for a product.

### 4. Variations
Create product variations when you have some attributes by clicking on **Add new Variation.**
Base on your product attributes creates all **available variations.**
Click on **Expand** to enter more information for each variation.
Hit on **SAVE PRODUCT** to save all product variations.
# Design Template
## 1. What is a template?
Design templates are a list of the template which you prepare for users use. They can add them to a product with one click. Even you can set a pre-template for a product for selling directly without adding to a design. ## 2. All Templates
From the Dashboard, click on **Design** **Templates** > **All Templates.**
This is where you manage all of your existed templates. In this area, you can see the template thumbnail, name, and status.
* **Add New Template:** Instantly add a new templates.
* **Bulk Actions**: Multiple actions apply to your selected templates.
* **Filter**: Sort your templates with category and created date.
* **Search**: Quick search with keywords.
* **Status**: Active/ Deactive templates similar to hide/unhide them on the design editor.

## 3. Add New Template
From the Dashboard, click on **Cliparts** > **Add New Template.**
* **Name**: The name of template for displaying.

* **Upload design file**: The template file, we support **.lumise** and **.json** file only.
* **Price**: base price for this template. The Product Price will increase if users use this template.
* **Featured**: Put template into the featured template items list
* **Active**: Enable/Disable template on front-end.

# Clipart
## 1. What is a clipart?
Design cliparts are a list of the cliparts which you prepare for users use. They can add them to a product with one click. ## 2. All Cliparts
From the Dashboard, click on **Cliparts** > **All Cliparts.**

* **Add New Clipart:** Instantly add a new or multiple cliparts.
* **Bulk Actions**: Multiple actions apply to your selected cliparts.
* **Filter**: Sort your cliparts with category and created date.
* **Search**: Quick search with keywords.
* **Status**: Active/ Deactive cliparts similar to hide/unhide them on the design editor.

## 3. Add New Clipart

## 4. Add Multiple Cliparts

1\. From the Dashboard, click on **Cliparts** > **All Cliparts** > **Add multiple Cliparts.**
2\. Set relevant **Categories, Tags,** and **Price** for a bundle of cliparts.
3, Select or drag your files on the **Upload Cliparts** box to complete.
# Shape
## 1. What is a shape?
A shape is a form of an object or its external boundary, outline, or external surface instead of other properties such as color, texture, or material composition. Lumise support shapes with SVG format.
## 2. All Shapes
From the Dashboard, click on **Shapes** > **All Shapes.**
This is where you manage all of your existed shapes. In this area, you can see the shape thumbnail, name, and status.
* **Add New Shape:** Instantly add a new shape.
* **Bulk Actions**: Multiple actions apply to your selected shapes.
* **Filter**: Sort your shape with the chosen alphabet order.
* **Search**: Quick search with keywords.
* **Status**: Active/ Deactive shapes similar to hide/unhide them on the design editor.
## 3. Add New Shape
From the Dashboard, click on **Shapes** > **Add New Shape.**
* **Name**: The name of shape for displaying
* **Content**: The SVG content you got from your SVG file. Paste for preview
* **Order:** The ordering of shape in the list.
* **Active**: Enable/Disable shape on front-end.
After filling in your content. Press the **SAVE SHAPE** button to store data.
# Printing Type
After quite a long time of research and implementation, we have officially released an update for printing type Lumise 2.0 with many new features to serve the majority of customers' needs.
## 1. What is a printing type?
In industrial printing, there are many methods to process production design. Each product has its own methods, you need to create different methods for users to select when purchasing.
## 2. How it works?

Each printing method has its own way of calculating the price. Lumise provides you seven options of calculation with a quantity range to flexible your decision.

* Calculate price with **Text, Clipart, Images, Upload.**
* Calculate price with **one color**.
* Calculate price with s**ize of area design** (*setup price with paper size A0, A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6*).
* A Fixed price for **each quantity.**
* Calculate price **per line.**
* Calculate price **per character.**
* Calculate price with **acreage design square inch.**

## 3. All Printing Types
From the Dashboard, click on **Printing Type** > **All Printing Type.**
This is where you manage all of your existed printing types. In this area, you can see the printing thumbnail, name, description, and status.
* **Add New Printing:** Instantly add a new printing.
* **Bulk Actions**: Multiple actions apply to your selected printing types.
* **Filter**: Sort your printing type with the selected alphabet order.
* **Search**: Quick search with keywords.
* **Status**: Active/ Deactive printing type similar to hide/unhide on the design editor.
## 4. Add New Printing
From the Dashboard, click on **Printing Type** > **Add New Printing.** There will be quite a few changes in interface and features in this section.
#### 4.1 General
* **Printing Title:** The name of the printing method for displaying.
* **Printing thumbnail:** Upload a preview thumbnail for this method.
* **Description:** Some describe text for this method.
* **Active:** Enable/Disable printing type on the design editor.
#### 4.2 Price Ruler
* **Calculation Price:** Allow to calculate printing price base on all stages or stage by stage.
* **Calculate price with Text, Clipart, Images, Upload:** *Set the price based on quantity range for each text, clipart, images, upload, Vector SVG.*
* **Calculate price with one color:** Allow setup price with one color of area design. Price of printing = Price of one color \* colors number.
* **Calculate price with size of area design:** Allow setup price with paper size (A0, A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6). This size is the size of area design.
* **Price Fixed:** Price is fixed on each view (front, back, left, right) of product design.
* **Calculate price per line:** Allow pricing per line.
* **Calculate price per character:** Allow pricing per character.
* **Calculate price with acreage design square inch:** Allow setup price with acreage design / 1 in²

* **Font**
Allows adding or removing fonts.
Allows you to choose from a list of display colors.

## 1. What is a font?

## 2. All Fonts

## 3. Add New Font
From the Dashboard, click on **Fonts** > **Add New Font.**
* **Name**: Name of the font for displaying.
* **Name Description:** For previewing purpose.

# Languages
## 1. What is language?
Multi-language is a very crucial thing for an international printing store. English is the default language of Lumise. But, you can add your preferred languages in the Lumise language settings. ## 2. Languages
From the Dashboard, click on **Languages** > **Languages.**
This is where you manage all of your created languages. In this area, you can see the original text, translate text, and the language flag.
* **Add New Language:** Instantly add a new language.
* **Filter**: Sort the original text with the chosen alphabet order and selected language.
* **Search**: Quick search with keywords.
## 3. Add New Language
From the Dashboard, click on **Languages** > **Add New Language.**
Select your preferred language then press the **Confirm to create language.**
The application will take seconds to scan text and add the texts into your language selected. Of course, this time the texts are **not translated** yet.
To translate, select the language and the original text then click **Auto Translate**.
Wait a few seconds to get this result.
## 4. Active Languages
To active your language just go to **Settings > Languages** and set the Lumise language for both frontend and backend.

## 5. Add Translate Text
From the Dashboard, click on **Languages** > **Add Translate Text.**
* **Translate Text**: Enter the translated text.
* **Original Text:** Enter the original text.
* **Language**: Select the language that you want to translate to.
After filling in your content. Press the **SAVE TRANSLATE TEXT** button to store data.

## 1. All Orders
From the Dashboard, click on **WooCommerce** > **Orders.**
This is where you manage all of your customer's orders. In this area, you can see the order id, custom design, date, order status, and the total price.
* **Add Order:** Instantly add a new order.
* **Filter**: Sort customer's orders with the date and registered customer.
* **Search**: Quick search with the order ID.
* **Bulk Actions**: Multiple actions apply to your selected orders.

The general setting is where you can personalize your printing stores by changing the logo, favicon, and theme. Further, you can add your store term & conditions.
* **Upload logo:** the logo will display on the frontend of the design editor.
* **Logo Url:** Your users will be redirected when clicking on the logo.
* **Theme color:** the main color for both admin and frontend editor design.

From the Dashboard, click on **Settings** > **Editor.**
* **Color picker:** Allow users to select colors from the color picker and users can add a new color to their colors list
* **List colors:** The default colors are used to fill objects
* **Right to left (RTL):** Enable right to left reading mode
* **User can share:** Allow non-admin users to share their designs
* **User can print:** Allow non-admin users to print their designs
* **User can download:** Allow non-admin users to download their designs as a file
* **Components:** Show/hide components of editor, you also can arrange them as how you want
* **Disable resources:** Disable online resources for none-admin users (Facebook, Instagram, Free images..)
* **Min size upload:** The minimum size (kilobyte) that users can upload photos (eg: 100)
* **Max size upload:** The maximum size (kilobyte) that users can upload photos (eg: 5000)
* **Min dimensions:** The min width x height in pixel of images can be added
* **Min PPI:** The min PPI (pixel per inch) of images can be added (It depends on the size you have configured)
* **Max PPI:** The max PPI of images can be added (It depends on the size you have configured)
* **Low-resolution notice:** Allows to add low-resolution images with a notice (when its resolution is lower than Min PPI)
* **Design all stages:** Required design all stages before add to cart
* **Auto-zoom to fit:** Automatically zooms to fit the product with the screen
* **Enable bug reporting:** Allow users report bugs from editor
* **Custom CSS:** Your custom CSS code will run in editor
* **Custom JS:** Your custom JS code will run in editor
* **Prefix name:** The prefix of file name download
* **Disable QRCode:** Do not show the QRCode generator
* **Auto snap:** Automatically align the position of the active object with other objects
* **Template append:** Keep all current objects and append the template into
* **Replace image:** Replace the selected image object instead of creating a new one
* **Show header & footer:** Display Lumise editor in a page with header and footer of your theme
* **Set width for editor:** Set width for editor in case you set showing header & footer (px, %, vw)
* **Set height for editor:** Set height for editor in case you set showing header & footer (px, %, vw)

The shop setting is where you can personalize your printing stores.
* **Currency symbol:** Use for displaying on the design editor
* **Currency first:** Display the currency symbol before or after the price number.
* **Currency code:** The currency code uses for payment
* **Thousand separator:** This sets the thousand separators of displayed price
* **Decimal separator:** This sets the decimal separator of the displayed price
* **Number of decimals:** This sets the number of decimals points show in displayed price
* **Show only design:** Show only design in cart page (hide product)
* **Editor Page:** Page to display Lumise editor for design.
* **Button Text:** Customize button text. Default: Customize
* **Button Listing:** Show Customize button on list products page or other listing
* **Button Product Page:** Show Customize button on product page
* **Designs details in email:** Send details of designs in email for admin when orders are created, send to user when orders are completed

# Google fonts
Select from over 1000+ Google Fonts to diversify text style for users. Besides, Lumise also supports add custom fonts that are not available on Google Fonts API.

## 1. What is the Addon Printful?
Printful is a print-on-demand and drop-shipping platform that allows you to create & sell your custom design products online. The addon printful is a bridge that integrates Lumise and WooCommerce to Printful and supports users to sample the base product from the printful page to create designs with the Lumise plugin.

## 2. How it works
### Step 1: Get the store API
Access to the [Printful]() website to get your store API.
After registering the printful account, go to **Store** --> **Create** then **active** it.
Go to **Settings** > **API** to copy the **API** **key**.
You'll need to encode the API before enter it in the add-on settings. Please go to [HERE](https://www.base64decode.org/) to **encode** the API.
### Step 2: Addon settings
You go to addon settings enter the **encrypted API.**
### Step 3: Create a product with Printful
Create a variation product then choose **Lumise Configuration** to select products base from Printful.
